JOB TITLE: Associate – Power BI

CAREER LEVEL: C2

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Solution architecture for Business Intelligence use cases. 

  • Serve as a key liaison between Business End Users, IT and Power BI Development team; working with stakeholders to identify their reporting/data requirements. 

  • Translate reporting business needs into technical reporting requirements with acceptance criteria for hand over to Power BI development team.  Work with and support the development team to implement and test these report requirements. 

  • Collaborate continuously with the Agile Scrum team to groom, refine issues and plan sprints to implement new reporting efficiencies, milestones or scoping efforts.  

  • Assist in presenting reporting requests to main stakeholders and identify training needs. 

  • Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture 

  • Designing mobile reports based on wireframes/mockups. 

  • Cross collaborates across multiple functions and geographies to work towards the aligned goal. 

  • Effectively train the junior resources in technical and functional aspects 

  • Design and development of Power BI dashboards. 

  • Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed. 

  • Manage end-to-end deliverable from requirements gathering to production go live. 

  • Conceptualize and design the best fit solution against the requirements with the help of an Architect. 

  • Ability to understand the functional aspects of business. 

  • Collaboration with stakeholders and other internal teams through effective communication. 

  • Complex problem-solving capability and providing out-of-box solutions. 

  • Documenting and emailing the objectives clearly and to follow good email etiquettes.  

  • Must be analytic, creative, self-motivated, organized, managing time and be a fast learner. 

  • Work Effectively within a global team connecting from different parts of the globe.
