Azure Full-Stack Data Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Full-Stack Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions using primarily Azure cloud platform. Your expertise will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting the company’s data-driven decision-making process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Azure cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lakes, Azure Synapse, and PowerBI.
- Develop data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Optimize and fine-tune data workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement security measures and data governance best practices to maintain data integrity and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure cloud technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve data engineering processes.
Requirements
- Upper intermediate English level, good verbal and written communications skills.
- 3+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer in Azure cloud environment.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lakes, Azure Synapse, and PowerBI.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Solid understanding of data integration techniques and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to quality and detail.
- Motivated, enthusiastic individual with ability to work on own initiative.
- Knowledge in one of the following domains is a plus: Prescriptive and Predictive Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Information Management, Big Data or IoT.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information science or related field is a plus.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect or Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric will be considered a strong plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks is advantageous.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering data projects from conception to deployment.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements.
