CurrentBody is seeking a BI Analyst to join our team. As a BI Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in analyzing complex data sets to identify business opportunities, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement BI solutions that provide real-time insights to stakeholders. Your expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, Python, and your commercial awareness will play a key role in automating processes and maximizing the value of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to the business.
  • Write advanced SQL queries and use DAX to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks to enhance BI processes and workflows.
  • Apply commercial awareness to interpret data and provide recommendations that align with business strategies and objectives.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of data analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver BI solutions that meet those needs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the BI function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of BI projects.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and DAX for complex data querying and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
