ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a detail-oriented and highly analytical BI analyst to join our finance team. The analyst will assist in building dashboards critical for the monthly/ quarterly reporting cycles and help build the base formats for all operating reviews. This analyst will play a key role in driving the regular delivery of standardized dashboards to teams globally. This role is critical to help build accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong financial modeling skills, the ability to multitask, and deliver timely accurate reports. 
A successful Analyst will be detail-oriented, having a strong analytical mind with the ability to identify and strengthen areas of business risks and capitalize on opportunities in the company (FP&A Organization). They should be able to drive predictive analytics. This requires a lot of diligence as well as an attitude to take on new tasks with a solution mindset.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong experience and deep technical understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (BI Reporting or Planning) in addition to technical and application knowledge expertise of SAC. Solutions include tools such as S/4 Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Analysis for Office in the environment of SAP HANA, SAP S/4 HANA, and non-SAP Systems
  • Support the setup and development of an overall SAC governance model to position the solution for future reporting and analytics operations and enhancements.
  • Provide training and ongoing support of Business Intelligence Reporting and Visualization solutions and best practices to IT and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as OTC, RAR, BRIM is a huge plus
  • Performing data validation and data quality checks
  • Drive mission-critical financial reporting and analytics (planning, forecasting, budgeting, monthly & quarterly variance analysis, etc.) for a large company
  • Ensure standard reports are produced & available as per stipulated timelines across all the verticals/business units. Ensure accuracy and completeness at all times
  • Partner with business teams on delivering analytics through dashboards, data, and insights to drive key business decisions and support negotiations

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Analytics/Modelling required.
  • Prior Finance (2-5 years minimum) FP&A/modeling/reporting experience
  • Experience with analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Google Data Studio, and spreadsheet tools (excel, Google Sheets) is required
  • Sound fundamentals on financial knowledge, analytical/data modeling ability, and sound understanding of the media ecosystem including some understanding of Nielsen’s products and services
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated work style, attention to detail, effective communicator
  • Ability to organize multiple responsibilities and deliver results in an accurate and timely manner while adapting to changes in priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills
