We’re looking for a BI Analyst to join our team in Kings Hill, UK on an 18 month contract. 

 

Eager to dive into the world of data? Westfalia are seeking a dynamic BI Analyst to join our UK Business Intelligence team. You’ll be instrumental in crafting and evolving our data models and tools that contribute to our continuous improvement, as well as capturing and transforming data into powerful insights that drive success across our organisation.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Extract, manipulate and process relevant data. 
  • Querying databases with SQL Server.  
  • Translating data into accurate reports to enhance market intelligence.
  • Master and automate existing data models and processes.  
  • Enhance and maintain our current reporting suite. 
  • Provide support for testing, documentation, and end-user assistance. 
  • Uphold data governance principles to safeguard organisational data. 
  • Occasionally travel to our Spalding office as and when required. 

Requirements

Essential 

    • Prior experience in a similar role. 
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
    • Proficiency in Visual Basic (VBA). 
    • Working knowledge or willingness to learn PowerBI & Domo.
    • Understanding of data optimization, governance, and management principles. 

Desirable 

    • Knowledge of SQL querying. 
    • Experience using ERP systems such as Prophet. 
    • Familiarity with other coding languages. 
    • Experience within the fresh produce industry.
