The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a member of the Operations team. This position will be responsible for aggregating, updating, and analyzing clinical, operational, patient experience, employee and other data. In addition, this position will be creating and presenting reporting and analysis, impactful to the business. This position will work directly to maintain and improve reporting with the company-wide Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard/database.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights

• Export data from external sources, including government services, to prepare various monthly standard reports for both internal leadership and government partners

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Work cross-functionally to manage and execute on requests from various support functions for data, reporting, analysis, and visualization

• Identify and analyze trends and variances at provider, clinic, regional, program, and enterprise levels; work with clinical and operational leadership to drive improvement on metrics

• Utilize Microsoft Fabric to integrate and manage data from various sources

• Write and optimize T-SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other analytics tools

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or other related field from an accredited college or university

• 2-4 years of demonstrated analytical experience

• Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL Server is required

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

• Experience in healthcare, government contracting, or multi-location industry a plus

• Experience in healthcare-related clinical data analytics strongly preferred

• Proficiency in writing T-SQL code

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Job Related Skills/Competencies

• Advanced to expert level of Microsoft Excel experience required, plus intermediate knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with other Microsoft Office Suites

• Database experience with the understanding of entity relationship diagrams

• Ability to make decisions, solve problems, identify key trends, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism 

• Familiarity with HIPAA and the ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (PHI and PII) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies 

• Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
