Your team:
As a Senior Analyst in Data, Analytics and Business Intelligence, you will participate in the transformation of Michelin’s Beyond Road business line to a data-driven organization by participating in multiple agile driven projects to provide a solid foundation and support on the proper use of analytical and business intelligence capabilities.
Your role:
As part of the business intelligence team manager your primary role will be to design and implement innovative new solutions, addressing business needs through information source analysis, strategy definition, data security, governance, integration and transformation to create consistent, responsive and high-performing data sets, reports or dashboards in our Azure cloud environment.
We need you for:
- Collect and analyze business needs and requirements to design appropriate functional solutions, based on market best practices and internal standards.
- Design new data flows from our sources (ERPs, files), from other sources available in the company or from external sources in the “bronze”, “silver” and “gold” model of the data lake in a high-performance, consistent and scalable way.
- Coordinate and support developers in the fine-tuning of their developments and implement action plans to solve complex problems.
- Develop test strategy, define and update test scenarios and coordinate execution to make solutions effective and efficient.
- Participate in the documentation and validation of training material, glossary (Collibra), data layers, semantic layer, reports and dashboards.
- Ensure continuous improvement of practices, standards, work methods and documentation related to your function. Ensure that other BI functional analysts adapt their practice to ensure a standardized approach.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
- You have a bachelor’s degree in information systems management or a related discipline.
- You have 5 or more years’ experience in data management for analytical and business intelligence purposes.
- You are comfortable working in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
- You are familiar with business intelligence concepts, including data modeling, extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes, as well as report design and data analysis.
- You have technical knowledge and experience of analytical and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Collibra and Dremio, as well as in delivering large-scale projects with cross-functional teams in agile mode.
- You have the ability to work in a team and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
