Job Description

Responsible for collaborating with clients to make objective customer-focused and data-driven decisions by providing analytical insight, actionable data and recommendations. Responsible for projects, providing analytics support, and serving in a consultant role across Operations. Responsible for breaking down business problems into structured analysis by assessing the requirements and/or business impact to arrive at recommended solutions. With minimal guidance, the consultant will provide an understanding of data to produce insights and actionable recommendations in the form of analytic projects, striving to positively impact and influence business decisions. Will be accountable for spearheading analytics projects and serve as a coach to assist others with the implementation of their projects. The consultant will have a passion for problem solving, comfort with ambiguity and the ability to think conceptually, analytically, and creatively.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate technical knowledge with business goals and strategy.

• Identify data elements needed to support business objectives and improve programs.

• Perform data analysis and evaluate trends.

• Develop analytics “story” and visualizations to ensure data is conveyed in meaningful and interpretive formats for all audience levels.

• Identify actionable insights and recommendations to independently influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating results across functional groups.

• Work across the organization with various business units to provide reporting, analytics, and data visualization solutions to improve business processes.

• Manage projects and program execution of moderate complexity. Implement new program solutions. Determine own work priority and timelines.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar discipline (Required)

Experience

• 3 or more years of relevant experience (Required)

• Experience in insurance/finance industry (Preferred)

Skills

• Strong technical skillset, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI (Required)

• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 – 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
