BI Developer/Analyst
Job Description
On behalf of our client, a leader and innovator in the fast growing Data Analytics Industry, we are currently looking for a results-oriented BI Developer/Analyst, to join its team.
Your day-to-day
- Develop and provide interactive dashboards using Power BI and/or Qlik Sense
- Provide reports, processes and Excel VBA applications through the application life cycle
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders, analyze business processes and requirements, with goal to deliver solutions tailored to the client needs.
- Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions.
- Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations.
- Business Intelligence Analysis
Requirements
- Degree in an IT related field; Masters degree will be considered as an asset
- Over 3 years of experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects
- Knowledge of data storage such as SQL Server skills including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis and integration
- Good knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL
- Knowledge in BI Technology mostly in Power BI or QLIK Sense
- Knowledge of coding in programming languages such as Python, etc. will be considered as a huge plus
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good command of the English language (verbal and written)
