Job Description

Unison Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced BigData Architect to join our team. As a BigData Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Big Data solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, design data processing architectures, and ensure the efficient and reliable processing of large volumes of data.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Big Data architectures.
  • Design and build data processing frameworks and infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion, storage, and analysis.
  • Develop and implement data governance and security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data.
  • Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of data processing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Big Data technologies and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Big Data Architect or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Big Data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Hive.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience designing and implementing data processing architectures and workflows.
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and NewSQL.
  • Understanding of data governance and security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Big Data or related fields are a plus.
