Job Description

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in an analyst or insights role in a business context. 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

2 years of experience in statistical problem-solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e. g. , Python, R, Java, C++). Experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries. Experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment for an organization.

Experience with controlled experiments, causal studies, and communicating results to non-technical audiences. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to take ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences. Within Google Customer Solutions (GCS), the Product and Sales Activation (PSA) team is responsible for performance and brand solutions for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) advertisers around the world, from large mid-market companies to local mom and pop shops. We are the product and business experts behind the thousands of Google Cloud Solution (GCS) Googlers that are responsible for driving sustainable business growth and product adoption.

We identify opportunities through analysis, build consensus with stakeholders, and program manage cross-functional teams to drive GCS advertiser success and business growth. In this role, as an Business Analyst, you will partner with PSA to provide business critical insights using analytics, ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals, execution, and helping teams drive new initiatives forward.

In addition, you’ll combine investigative and thought leadership to drive improvements across customer segmentation, data gathering and analysis, automated reporting and dashboard design to drive business intelligence. You will add value to a variety of business tests. You will combine excellent analytics acumen with strong operational aptitude.

You should be a self-starter who can tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership.
