We are currently looking for a Business & Data Analyst (m/f/d) for our site in Obernai or Blieskastel.The position is open with immediate effect and on a 18 month fixed-term contract.

 

The People Analytics team at Hager empowers HR & Business stakeholders to speak with facts and figures and make data-driven decisions by offering them self-service dashboards. Our ambition is to complete this self-service offer and conduct deeper analysis by leveraging wider data sources, tying together various data points or implementing predictive models.

In addition, we prepare the foundations to implement a sustainable Strategic Workforce Planning enabling to plan, develop and redeploy workforce and capabilities in a flexible & agile way.

In this consultative and analytical role, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the global Human Resources Function and manage concurrent projects to support at best the Business Analytics and Planning needs.

 

Your mission

  • You conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer key business questions,
  • You analyze large, complex datasets related to HR, such as employee demographics, performance, attrition, diversity and engagement data to derive insights,
  • You create data visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to business leaders in a clear and concise manner in order to inform strategic HR decisions,
  • You stay up-to-date on the latest developments in data science, HR analytics, workforce planning, and technology, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement,
  • You play an integral role in standing up a new global tool and process for Strategic Workforce Planning by supporting specifications definition, market solutions assessment towards the company’s requirements and solution implementation (data conversion, accuracy and security, solution testing, user training…)

 

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in data analytics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally in HR Analytics and/or Planning (data analysis, modeling, visualization, consulting to internal or external clients)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively about complex business problems
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, DAX
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Fluent in English and French or German
