Business Insight Analyst

Your team

We are looking for a BI Analyst to join the team here at Timeform Sporting Life.

The team look after two of racing and sports biggest editorial and data brands – and this role will play a central part in getting those brands to the next level, ensuring that we are investing in the right areas to win on our strategic objectives.

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for driving business intelligence at Timeform Sporting Life. This includes analysing a variety of data from across all teams to drive decision making and spot opportunities, keep a pulse of the market and broader competitive trends, as well as working closely with other BI teams in Flutter to ensure we are aligned and using the latest tech.

This role will challenge you across a variety of fronts, from brand activities through to financial performance – you’ll need to be able to see things from many different perspectives to be successful.

  • Understand Timeform Sporting Life’s customer through both internal and external data analysis.

  • Help establish innovative products to improve the business performance against the market.

  • Contribute to the alignment of insight across all Flutter UKI brands – ensuring learnings are being shared.

  • Work with commercial and marketing teams on key day to day tasks such as delivery of specific reporting needs.

  • Own our BI tech/measurement stack, ensuring we are using the best tech for our needs and that that tech is fully utilised – and work with other teams in group to make that happen.

How you’ll do it

  • Strong technical experience in delivering analytics solutions.

  • Able to condense rich data into actionable insights that informs key stakeholders.

  • Experience in using SQL, Looker, Excel, Big Query, data viz tools and data extraction from marketing platforms.

  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.

  • Ability to understand the nuances of a variety of topics such as financial performance, brand trackers, website data.
