We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team in Barcelona, Spain. The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide value-added analytical support to the group’s Head of Commercial Finance with respect to BI reporting, performance management and decision support.
YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Intelligence Analytics and Reporting
- Support the execution of data and analytics requests from Finance and the wider organisation;
- Engage as a subject matter expert on SAP reporting platforms and successfully deploy business intelligence solutions to satisfy information requirements;
- Build, develop and maintain data models, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions or strategies;
- Gather, analyse and document BI requirements, design and/or technical solutions and see them through to delivery;
- Establishing new and more efficient work processes to improve financial and business reporting quality and timing according to business objectives and BI strategy;
- Promote the use of BI solutions throughout the business and help to ensure they are a key part of decision making;
- Support cross-functional initiatives.
Other Responsibilities
- Collaborate with peers on any issues, solutions or winning practices that can be leveraged across Finance and the wider business;
- Establish and maintain long term partnerships with other BI Champions and business leaders.
YOUR PROFILE
• You have 3-5 years of professional experience with data analysis and reporting, ideally with a financial background;
• You hold a university degree in Business, Finance, Economics (or related discipline);
• You have skill in building reports and data models, (particularly SAP S/4 Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BI and Datawarehouse Cloud, and other reporting tools);
• You have a good knowledge of data warehouse modelling technics and architecture;
• You have good organisational, communication and time management skills (particularly working to tight deadlines);
• You have a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities;
• You are fluent in English and able to engage, and effectively communicate with senior audiences in business English.
