Requirements

The Purpose:

This role will deliver and manage key data, reporting & insights to drive business decisions across AP+. The Business Intelligence Analyst generally works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You devise solutions based on supplied requirements or precedent and adapt existing approaches to resolve objectives and issues. 

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capture and interpret data from a range of sources and communicate these findings across departments, demonstrating an analytical and inquisitive mindset.
  • Manage data quality and ensure actionable uses organisation-wide, showing autonomy in identifying and responding to complex issues.
  • Deliver reporting as directed by the Data & Insights Manager or their nominated delegate, using effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Develop and manage processes, frameworks, and tools to deliver data-based outcomes, applying a methodical approach to routine and moderately complex issue definition and resolution.
  • Deliver solutions and innovations in the data space that will support business goals, contributing to creative thinking and finding new ways to complete tasks.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by leadership, demonstrating effective teamwork in a collaborative team environment.

We’d love to hear from you if have:

  • A love for data storytelling; visually, verbally and in written communications, demonstrating the ability to interpret data visually and verbally.
  • 1-2 years technical experience with Power BI, Power pivot, Power query, DAX, Advanced Excel, SQL, Python & Snowflake.
  •  Able to work autonomously and closely with business stakeholders
  • Previous experience working with data in a business context.
