Assortment and Route to Market (RTM) are key solutions provided by the Client Delivery team in Brazil, and we are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Our Assortment Optimization solution helps our clients to identify which products really matter to their customers and which ones are readily substituted, supporting them to create optimal macro and micro assortment plans that boost sales and customer loyalty right down to the local store level, while minimizing sales risk, freeing up space for core items or introducing new products. 

And the Route-to-Market (RTM) solution evaluates opportunities to increase sales and quantify the impact of potential outputs, media and in-store actions at the local level, based on geographic and demographic composition, optimizing distribution, informing salesforce planning, and predicting marketing impact!   

In partnership with NIQ’s clients and internal teams (Advanced analytics sales, modeling, among others), our Analytics Project Consultants coordinate independently end-to-end the consulting and development for the assortment, decision trees and innovation incrementality projects. They possess extensive knowledge of Analytics solutions, and they are able to inspire junior team members to contribute to the team’s development. Responsabilities  

  • Development and analysis of results for Assortment and Route to Market projects, building presentations defined in the Story Flow meeting, consulting and executing data analysis projects  
  • Design the analytical flow and implement the SCQA process in all projects, pushing integration with other NielsenIQ solutions, in order to guarantee a fluid storyline, validating hypothesis and delivering actionable answers to the client business questions 
  • Management of own projects and and proper interaction with client team, guaranteeing quality in terms of deliverables and timeline compliance 
  • Interaction with internal teams (commercial and modeling) ensuring the process flow 
  • Deal with contingencies and propose solutions. 
  • Contribute on implementation and new joiners training, supervise and coach interns with team Manager´s support. 
  • Lead internal initiatives, setting expectations between local, regional & global teams.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Solid analytical experience with Business Intelligence and data analysis in the FMCG industry 
  • Experience in category or assortment management is desirable 
  • Advanced English  
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) 
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
