Job Description:
Viderity is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in Tableau and the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiencies. Your expertise in Tableau will enable you to transform complex datasets into insightful visualizations and provide critical data-driven support to our business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Development:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into visualizations.
- Optimize dashboard performance for speed and efficiency.
- Create calculated fields, parameters, sets, and other advanced features to enhance visualizations.
- Develop trending charts to track metrics over time.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards across dashboards.
- Data Preparation and Modeling:
- Connect Tableau to various data sources such as spreadsheets, databases, and cloud services.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis within Tableau using Tableau Prep.
- Design data models and relationships to support complex analyses.
- Implement data blending and data aggregation techniques.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity.
- Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on Tableau best practices, features, and functionality.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users.
- Develop documentation, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to assist users.
- Collaboration:
- Provide consultation on data collection processes and requirements.
- Answers ad hoc business questions as they occur by analyzing data.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Must pass a background check
- Proficiency in Tableau (2+ Years)
- Experience working with large data sets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Bonus: Proficiency in SQL.
- Bonus: Construction Industry Experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a demonstrated ability to develop presentation materials, lead and facilitate team meetings sessions
- Possess exceptional client and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, and continue to meet all deadlines, while remaining flexible with continually changing priorities

Salary Range:
- $125,000 – $135,000 per year
