At Machine Learning Reply Germany we
work with our clients on leading-edge data project for
which we are seeking Business Intelligence consultants with
a strong economics and IT background to serve our cloud based client projects
in multiple industries.

Machine Learning Reply, with its sister company in Italy and

on solving problems with data intelligence and the right organizational
frameworks as their backbone. We offer tailor-made end-to-end solutions in the Business Intelligence Ecosystem
that cover the entire project lifecycle
– from initial strategy consulting to data architecture, data processing, modelling and implementation in production.

Responsibilities

  • As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you will develop Business Intelligence applications for our clients based on their challenges and guide our clients through the entire BI landscape, from data access to data modelling and tool design
  • You will be responsible for formulating business requirements and translating them into technology requirements as part of a BI roadmap and initial BI architectures
  • You analyze raw data from our customers’ source systems, transform it and create meaningful business applications
  • You work closely with our data scientists, data engineers and solution architects to ensure the smooth implementation of projects
  • You leverage your strong communication skills effectively in meetings and workshops to convince our customers with business cases, qualitative assessments and demos

Requirements

  • We are looking forward to your Master’s degree with a strong quantitative and economic background, for example in business informatics, economics or computer science
  • You are experienced in using BI tools and creating dashboards (e.g. with PowerApps, Power BI or Tableau) and Microstrategy
  • You are no stranger to data and dimension modelling as well as the definition of KPIs (e.g. aggregations, filtering, security groups, RLS)
  • You have a strong understanding of SQL and relational databases and have practical experience with the creation and/or use of cloud-based databases
  • Basic knowledge of cloud analytics and data warehousing services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift)
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of data integration and transformation, including its objectives and the critical factors to consider when selecting the appropriate tool. Hands-on experience is an advantage (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks, AWS Glue, etc.)
  • Experience with or interest in developing business intelligence use cases as well as a good understanding of the digitization of BI and ML business models are welcome
  • You are fluent in English and speak German at least at B2 level
