We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer proficient in data modeling, data visualization techniques, and SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into insightful, visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Responsibilities

Data Modeling: Design and develop efficient, scalable data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.

Data Visualization: Create compelling and intuitive visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Data Visualization best practices to present complex data in a user-friendly manner.

SQL Expertise: Utilize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and data engineers, to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Optimization: Continuously optimize and refine existing Power BI solutions to enhance performance and usability.

Documentation: Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards to ensure clarity and ease of understanding for end-users.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to users, empowering them to utilize Power BI effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Experience in data modeling, transforming raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Snowflake, etc.) and data warehouse concepts.
