As a pioneer and industry leader in audience measurement for more than half a century, we take pride in our technology and processes, and we are constantly searching for new ways to advance our culture of innovation and growth.● The Business Intelligence (BI) Lead role develops and maintains analytic solutions that provide data driven insights and enable business decisions regarding panel health, operational performance, effectiveness and quality.● The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the Data Science and Analytics or related fields. Additionally, the ideal candidate demonstrates a history of continual learning and exhibits excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, automate, optimize and maintain analytics solutions using descriptive, prescriptive and statistical analytic methods
  • Reduce tech debt associated with legacy data pipelines and reports by developing BI that integrates into BI Console architecture and framework
  • Develop and maintain data, process and design documentation that support maintainability, transparency and reuse of data assets.
  • Implement data governance and quality processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Conduct research and analysis that offer insights to non-technical audiences, and drive actions that impact quality, performance, operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Monitor production deliveries, resolve issues and provide responses to end user feedback in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects, production support and optimization efforts

Key Skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including statistical analysis
  • 5 years experience using common scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • 5 years experience querying data, working with relational databases, e.g. SQL, Postgres
  • 5 years experience in data integrations (e.g. developing data pipelines, analytics workflows, self service apps. Alteryx experience preferred
  • 5 years experience developing visualizations, e.g. Tableau, Salesforce dashboards
  • Well-organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Able to communicate effectively and concisely to various audiences, both orally and in writing
  • Attention to detail, delivering high accuracy and quality. Takes the initiative to continually identify, document, and implement steps to improve overall quality and accuracy.
  • Preferred: experience with Jira, Git, Confluence, Smartsheets, Google Workspace suite
