Job Description

Business Intelligence Manager plays a critical role in leveraging data analytics and insights to drive strategic decision-making, optimize business processes, and enhance operational efficiency within the FinTech company. The BI Manager is responsible for leading a team of analysts, developing data-driven solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve key business objectives.

 

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from multiple sources, including internal systems, external APIs, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to uncover business opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize processes.
  • Lead and manage a team of BI associates – specialist, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define strategic priorities, KPIs, and performance targets aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems and platforms.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage BI tools, platforms, and technologies to support data visualization, analysis, and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including product management, marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams, to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBIP, CISA, PMP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles within the financial services or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading BI initiatives, managing complex projects, and delivering impactful insights to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) and data visualization techniques to create interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modelling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns and trends in data.
