Team Overview and Job responsibilities
We are looking for a BI and Web Applications to join our team.
Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to LATAM It applications Manager, you will be responsible for Business Intelligence and Web Applications in Prysmian Latin America, in accordance with established policies, guidelines, strategies and legislation.

Responsibilities
- Leader for Latin America (8 countries) for the technologies under his responsibility.
- Main point of contact for IT Managers and Business Partners providing technical solutions to improve business processes in alignment with Head Quarters strategy.
- Working in a matrix environment, has to develop and empower his team, formed by internal and external resources, managing daily workload and excel in quality of the deliverables that have to be on-time/on-budget.
- Responsible for vendors management/contracting/development
- Acts as Project Manager whenever necessary.

Main interactions
- Work as an advisor and tutor for IT and Business within the region.
- Work in local and regional project teams interacting with IT and business people at the same time keeps the daily workload of live solutions.
- Interacts daily with IT Infrastructure, ERP and Digital Innovation teams in a synergic environment.
- Contributes to IT Strategic planning, project preparation, IT budgets control and reporting
Who are we looking for?
- Experienced on Business processes review/automation with good understanding about business targets/metrics (sales, turnover, costs, etc) – preferably on Manufacturing Industry segment
- Solid knowledge about SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) technique
- Excel on User Experience design and implementation for BI and Web applications
- Technical
- At least 3 years’ experience on IT leading teams
- Solid knowledge on Business Intelligence framework )data modelling, transformation and DBA)
- Technical knowledge on BI tools (QlikSense, SAP BI, Power BI, MS SQL)
- Technical knowledge on Web development, Share Point 365, PowerApps
- Self-disciplined, strong methodological and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Open to new technologies and be a change agent on innovative solutions adoption
- Develop a strong ownership and business partnership with good negotiation skills
- Innovative thinking, needs also good written and oral communication skills
