Business Leadership Program Overview: 

Synchrony’s Business Leadership Program (Full-Time) is a two-year, three-rotation experience that will help you develop the skills needed to accelerate your career. You’ll gain deep expertise in one of our 10 Tracks, taking on three unique roles to explore different areas of your chosen function. During the two years, you will also engage in a collection of immersive experiences designed to deepen your business knowledge, drive cross-functional exposure, broaden your network, and pay it forward within your community. 

The program provides successful graduates with the strong foundation of skills and experiences they need to grow their careers and position themselves for future leadership roles. 

 
Performance Marketing Full-Time BLP Experience: What You would Accomplish  
 

Marketing is the basis for any company to build meaningful connections with it’s consumers, driving awareness, engagement, and loyalty through effective communication about it’s products and services. It not only serves as the primary channel for offers but also plays a critical role in understanding the consumer behavior and shaping strategies accordingly.

At the Performance marketing team, we harness the power of data to make better informed decisions, overseeing end-to-end campaigns and leveraging Martech tools like CDP for having unified consumer journey and providing the personalized offers via better equipped email service platforms.

A Performance Marketing BLP will identify and give the data drive marketing using the various Martech stack. Below are the key responsibilities: 

  • Gain expertise in CRM / CDP , Zeta and preference center platforms
  • Understand the consumer journey :- Map key touchpoints in the consumer journey.
  • Evaluate customer preferences, behaviors, and demographic trends.
  • Identify successes and areas for improving consumer targeting.
  • Apply strategies of optimum & effective in the email service platforms i.e., Zeta.
  • Improvising the QA process to enhance maximum accuracy

  • Ability to effectively work independently and within collaborative teams  
  • Proven leadership both inside and beyond the classroom 
  • Strong project management and communication skills 
  • Understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior
  • Precision in managing data and working on the marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and passion for learning  
  • Passion for excellence with high integrity and a commitment to quality
  • Focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving business growth
  • Relevant internship or co-op or equivalent work experience  

Desired Characteristics for the Performance Marketing Track 

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience and comfort level working with data of varying sizes and from multiple sources 
  • Ability to synthesize diverse information to develop and recommend strategies 
  • Good presentation, speaking, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the capability to meet deadlines 
  • Technical proficiency in tools such as SAS, Python and query language of SQL to extract, work and analyze the data
  • Comfort with various marketing technologies and willingness to learn new tools
  • Prioritize understanding and addressing customer needs and preferences
  • Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of marketing campaigns through rigorous testing and validation processes
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc analysis, bringing independent thought leadership and value-added insights and judgment 

  
Basic Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline like Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc. 
  • Academic record – 7 CGPA

Work Timings: 4:30 to 1:30 PM EST

(WORK TIMINGS: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will

require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
