The Premium Pricing team of our Data Science department is seeking for a Software Engineer. This role involves developing and enhancing product features, optimizing code for efficiency and readability, and creating innovative solutions to support the wider team.
These are just some of the tasks you may work on as a Software Engineer within the Data Science team at OpenBet.
- Develop sports betting pricing models.
- Design comprehensive reporting services.
- Develop and promote coding best practices for high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software.
- Document processes behind projects and features.
- Enhance model infrastructure for innovative features and products.
If you are the right candidate for us you will be able to demonstrate:

An undergraduate degree in a computer science/software engineering field.

Master’s degree or PhD in a related field will be an asset.

Practical experience using .NET development, specifically C#. Extensive experience using Python.

Strong understanding of at least two sports and basic betting concepts.

Understanding of APIs and their interaction with .NET applications.
It would also be great to see these skills/experiences as well:
-
2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on optimization.

Practical experience with performance tuning and benchmarking.

Good understanding and practical experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS).

Strong understanding of at least two sports and basic betting concepts.

Comprehensive knowledge of multiple sports and advanced betting concepts.
