Job Description
Analyze supplier pricing strategies and be pro active in proposing opportunities in close collaboration with the Commercial Analytics Team, Category Managers and data team.
Market Analysis and Benchmarking: :
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand competitive pricing, industry trends, and supplier market conditions.
- Benchmark our supplier’s pricing against industry standards and competitors to maintain competitiveness.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor the performance of pricing strategies and adjust them as necessary to meet objectives (Prix versus benchmark / Average Selling Price Evolution / Total Revenue Evolution).
- Prepare and present detailed pricing reports and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
Strategic Pricing Development:
- Formulate and implement comprehensive pricing strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives.
- Ensure pricing strategies are adaptable to market changes and competitive landscapes.
- Utilize analytics to gather insights and make informed pricing decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to pricing, such as market volatility, supplier dependency, and currency fluctuations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive, in close collaboration with Procurement Controlling Director continuous improvement initiatives in pricing processes and methodologies.
- Keep abreast of best practices and innovations in pricing to implement improvements within the organization.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Analysis
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Market research
- Full working proficiency in English and French
- SQL, PowerBI knowledge is a plus as well as GPO experience
