Your role and work environment
As Tribe Corporate Customer Data Management our purpose is to transform Wholesale Banking from a product to a customer centric digital organization, with one core customer view (for organization, hierarchy, agreement references, associated individuals, and mandates) and consequently maximize the possibilities of self-servicing in processes for corporate customers.
CCDM is an organization with an unprecedented focus on customer data and journeys in Wholesale Banking. There will be several challenges to overcome:
- Design, deliver and maintain End2End journeys for customers and ING colleagues across the globe.
- Deliver high quality, accurate and trustworthy Customer Data for WB Customers.
- Security and compliancy across customer journeys and IT assets
- Deliver and support the delivery of One Wholesale Bank experience through all WB locations surrounding customer data & journeys.
- Seducing business stakeholders with best-in-class journeys and undisputed data quality/ownership
- Strategic development upon target technology
Your key responsibilities
As a Chapter Lead:
- You strengthen the ING One Agile Way of Working as a role model while safeguarding the Orange Code.
- Your primary responsibility is to facilitate, support, and motivate your Chapter members.
- You coach and guide your chapter members through the Planning/Control/Evaluation cycle, both personally and professionally
- You support the development and craftsmanship of the Chapter team members within your Chapter.
- You ensure employees feel involved and valued and are prepared to continue their personal development.
- You stimulate cross-border interaction and alignment between people, Tribes, Squads, Chapters, FO organization, and Service organization.
- You create and maintain new cross-cultural collaboration by creating awareness and understanding, leveraging diversity, and communicating effectively.
- Get people moving by inspiring action, fostering engagement, and driving performance across the organization.
You will report to the Tribelead CCDM.
We are looking for:
An inspiring, approachable leader and pioneer of the cross-border culture, displaying the following behaviors:
- Manage a Chapter in the customer data business, combining hands-on delivery as a squad/tribe member with management responsibilities, and encouraging focus on delivering the squad’s backlog.

Proven track record and technical skills:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent.
- At least 8 years’ experience in relevant positions, demonstrating success in management, people development, change delivery, process improvements, or product innovations with a high customer impact.
- A personality and capabilities to function optimally within an Agile environment.
- Experience in guiding and realising change.
- Experience or affinity with customer data processes is a plus.
- Previous experience with coaching and developing people is a plus.
- Affinity with IT is a plus.
- Excellent level of English.
