The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning’s businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and product teams to understand business requirements.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI technologies and chatbot solutions that support business objectives.

• Develop chatbot solutions using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, and integrating them with platforms such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Azure Cognitive Services, and AWS Chatbot.

• Leverage Power Automate for workflow automation and integration with other Microsoft services.

• Incorporate Artificial Intelligence, large language models (LLM), natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), and cognitive machine learning techniques to develop and optimize chatbot performance and user experience.

• Manage and process large datasets to train AI models effectively, ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Analyze performance metrics and user/bot data to make data-driven decisions regarding chatbot improvements and modifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, support continuous improvement of chatbot products.

• Continuously research and implement AI advancements to enhance user experience through improved personalization, chat interactions, and user journey optimization.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in chatbot development, conversational design, and natural language processing.

• Experience with chatbot development platforms such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Azure Cognitive Services, and AWS Chatbot.

• Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation and integration with other Microsoft services.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and .Net (C#).

• Experience with enterprise automation tools (iPaaS, APIM, RPA) with ability to build APIs using REST endpoints, Data Aggregation and String Formatting.

• Experience working with ServiceNow and Moveworks Inc. strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
