  • Cloud Database Engineer – AWS
    Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
    • Minimum of 8-10 Years of relevant work experience required
    • Experience in managing/supporting ( S3, Route53 , Instance parameter groups , Security groups, VPC, availability zones etc.)
    • Experience with AWS cloud database technologies (ex: RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB etc.)
    • Very strong and solid experience of database administration in a cloud environment. Experience with replication/clustering and partitioning a must
    • Experience writing and executing stress tests on databases and services
    • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
    • Very good Knowledge of indexes, index management, statistics, data-at-rest encryption, secure connectivity
    • Good to have with Big Data concepts and technologies, especially using AWS
      What you’ll be doing
    • As AWS Cloud Database Engineer, you will design, build, apply company defined security policies, automate using Could Formation Templates, analyze client workflow, determine the best solution for a successful project, and share knowledge of databases.
    • As a part of the team, you will help the teams adopt to cloud native database solutions.
    • To be successful in this role the candidate must have deep knowledge cloud data technologies and align technology solutions to specific business objectives.
    • What you bring to the team
    • Build Qualification and apply company security policies and harden the database (RDS) to qualify as per the company standards.
    • Prepare the technical documentation and standard operating procedures
    • Create best practices for cloud database operations
    • Automate the build, operation, backup, restore, and monitoring of databases used across our client
    • Develop and evaluate database infrastructure performance criteria and measurement methods
    • Contributing to other support and automation efforts as needed
