Job Description:

7 yrs of total experience and in which recent 5 years in below technical – must have

Technical – Must Have

Language – Python should have hands on. Cloud – Azure / AWS Data Platform – Azure Databricks using PySpark APIs, SQL. Orchestration Pipeline – Azure Data Factory, Data Flow, Data bricks Workflows OR any others. Must have worked à Code standardization and various optimization techniques. Must have worked à Data Modelling , Data Wrangling , Data Mash , Data Warehouse , Fact/Dimension table , Data Migration ( DB1  à DB2 , OnPrem à Cloud ) and Data Lifecycle.

Good To have

ETL/DB – Informatica OR any flavour hands on ( DML , DDL , DCL ) Data Migration / ETL, Handling Big data – Experience. LLM / AI tool – knowledge , good to have.

Expectation

Work closely with source data application teams and product owners to understand the product for migration. Implement data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services: (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, etc.) and traditional data warehouse tools. Good knowledge and hands on for Infrastructure, network, security, and administration, ingestion, preparation, data modelling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments. Technical leadership quality and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently. Good Hands on for any data migration tools. Good knowledge on Informatica to understand flows. Experience with data bricks and other analytics tools for moving and transforming data from one platform to another. Experience in leading/mentoring team 10-15. (Senior Level) Quick solutioning/debugging skills.

Non-Technical

Good Analytical skills Willing to work with a shift that coincides with the CST time zone OR any shift timings. Willing to work with a geographically dispersed team. Ability to work with Agile/Other non-agile methodologies. Good written/oral/presentation skills. Willing to learn and implement.

Preferred

Databricks/Spark Certification. Data Engineering Certification any (Azure/ AWS). Azure Cloud Certification.
