This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once either of these work term(s) are completed.
Terms:
The summer term will be full time while the fall term could be either full or part time.
- Summer 2024: May 20 – August 16, 2024
- Fall 2024: August 19 – December 13, 2024
- Both Summer and Fall 2024: May 20 – December 13, 2024
Location: Loveland, CO
What you will do:
- – Support the functions and processes of the Nitrogen Capital team and multiple production facilities in North America
- – Contribute to the management of a portfolio of multi-million dollar capital projects at multiple sites
- – Model our core value of safety by supporting a culture where you are agilely contributing to a safe work environment
- – Develop real time capital project performance indication in Microsoft Power BI
- Prepare capital reports as needed for various departments
- Perform a variety of basic plant engineering calculations to validate capital project justification
- Prepare and issue project synopsis
- Other duties as needed
What you will bring:
- Successful completion of at least one year in a recognized computer science program – two years preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency using all Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Business Intelligence
- Basic knowledge of financial functions, IRR, NPV, others
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $18.56/hour – $23.04/hour This range is estimated for Co-op Student, Capital Portfolio in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
We provide a benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary.
