All about the role:

For our Control Algorithm & Connectivity team within the Food Preservation Organization, we are looking for a Control Algorithms Developer.

Your key objective will be to develop control algorithms, system models, and innovative functionalities to improve the user experience of Food Preservation Appliances (Cooler, Freezer, Combi, Multidoors).

What you’ll do:

As a Control Algorithms Developer, you will be responsible for managing product control algorithm and develop new functionalities. Help Electrolux keep shaping living for the better, and we’ll help you go further than you ever thought possible.

In detail, you will:

  • Manage Appliance control algorithms implementation.

  • Develop new innovative functionalities based on technology roadmaps.

  • Develop system models and use Model-Based Design technology to guide and continuously improve the development process of algorithms.

  • Draft the technical documentation describing algorithms functionalities and the standard procedures for the calibration/setup operations.

  • Foster the systematic adoption of Automatic Code Generation of Control Algorithms developed with the Model Based Design paradigm, defining coding rules and interfaces with FW of appliance control boards and user interfaces.

  • Calibrate and test the algorithm in the validation and certification laboratories, accelerating the testing of new concepts using Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP).

Who you are: 

  • Master’s degree in Electronic/Mechatronic/Automation/Software Engineering or similar technical fields

  • Experience of Control System Engineering (2-5 years), ideally in automotive, household, aerospace, robotics or plant automation sectors.

  • Good knowledge of dynamics systems, signal processing, and statistics.

  • Attitude to developing new control solutions (algorithms) and identifying the more appropriate production format.

  • Proficient user of Matlab / Simulink, with focus on the adoption of the Model Based Design paradigm

  • Fluent English written and spoken.

  • Knowledge of C language for programming microcontrollers is a plus.

  • Knowledge of python language for machine learning models is a plus.
