Corporate Actuarial Analyst P&C
Job Description
About the Role:
Quarterly reserves analysis for Division Americas P&C business
Reporting of quarterly results to senior management and the Reserve Committee
Estimation of payment patterns
Preparation of materials in respect of statutory reporting requirements for different legal entities.
Support various new and ongoing projects or ad-hoc initiatives such as improvements to existing tools and processes.
Portfolio costing deep dives and costing-reserving feedback.
Financial/reporting system and IFRS 17 implementation, and other analytics projects
About the Team:
The Actuarial Reserving P&C Re team for Americas is part of the Global Actuarial Reserving P&C Re Unit which is responsible for reserving, commutation pricing, statutory reporting, IFRS17 reporting/implementation and data analytics for actuarial analysis.
About You:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Physics or equivalent field
1-3 years of experience in the P&C actuarial domain
Sound mathematical and actuarial background, actively working towards the attainment of actuarial qualification
Ability to work accurately and deliver within timelines
Strong data organization and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong learning motive
Knowledge of any programming language (VBA, R, Python) and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is an advantage
