CORPORATE TREASURY

Corporate Treasury manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet and capital to maximize net interest income and return on equity through liability planning and execution, financial resource allocation, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio management.

We are looking for a highly analytical, self-starter, strategic & process design expert to join our Treasury Services Change function within Operations. Your role will include working with teams across Operations to identify opportunities for transformation and re-engineering to help teams meet the goals and objectives of the division’s strategy

Corporate Treasury Operations (CTO) is a sub division of the Corporate Treasury Division. As a global, multi-faceted and cross-product sub division, our primary objectives are to: lead the development of new payments-centric businesses, while building scale and improving agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape; act as a first line of defense for control and governance to protect firm’s financial assets; and incorporate differentiated client service to be best in class.  Corporate Treasury Operations is a growing subdivision globally, with regional presence in Singapore, Bengaluru, London, New York, Dallas and Salt Lake City with all our offices working closely together as a global team. 

The sub division has a rare opportunity to support products and businesses ranging across existing and new business lines, multiple payment types, and multiple client types, including institutional/franchise, consumer and corporate cash management sectors. We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around cash management (payment controls, bank account management, settlements and reconciliations, claims), change management, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

The team is seeking a skilled professional who will provide business insights for data driven decisions. In this role, you will apply your quantitative, problem solving and customer service skills to support the functional areas within Corporate Treasury Operations. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements for the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall client experience.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Assist BI team and business teams to adopt Agile methodology to manage story writing, prioritization and planning/managing of all BI projects. 
  • Serve as teams’ program manager, managing and representing the team’s book of work to senior management, stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Actively manage sprints, by ensuring sprints are properly setup at inception and tracking change requests and working with all stakeholders to ensure proper understanding on the progress of each sprint
  • Apply quantitative analysis and data-mining skills to develop deep analytical insights around products and processes across a variety of data sets and platforms.
  • Analyze process data across multiple systems and flows, develop key tracking metrics, and build visualization to help end users and process managers to understand and use these metrics to solve short term and long-term goals
  • Source large sets of data from multiple sources (APIs, Files, Databases), transform and normalize the data; design dimensional data models and load transformed data into relational databases
  • Create objective data driven stories that influence and convince leadership teams to act based on data-driven insights
  • Inform, influence, and execute new data analytics initiatives that are meaningfully shift core metrics in the positive direction.
  • Developing data analytics solutions using SQL and Business Intelligence software such as Alteryx (for data extraction, transformation and loading) and Tableau (for data visualization)
  • Measuring business performance & risk using existing data analytics toolkit, and sharing insights with Operations management
  • Excellent analytical skills; comfortable working with large data sets and presenting findings that tell a clear, insightful and compelling story
  • Develop and manage the organization’s OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, such as access control, archiving, optimization, and log checks
  • Ability to manage high performing teams (VP) and nurture/grow the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math, or Engineering
  • 2+ (AS) 4+ (VP) years of experience and strong proficiency in SQL (including experience joining complex relational datasets)
  • 1+ (AS) 2+ (VP)years of experience in Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience creating compelling narratives from data and influencing adoption of these narratives amongst cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to abstract and communicate technical content and analytical insights to multiple audiences
  • Analytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a high-risk environment and meet challenging deadlines and targets
  • Experience in ETL tools such as Alteryx

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of financial payments and industry standards such as SWIFT, ACH, FPS
  • Experience in gathering and documenting requirements with full testing traceability
  • Proficient in using multi-dimensional data modeling/data warehousing for data analytics and reporting
  • Proficient in predictive analytics using tools such as Alteryx, Python, or R
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining ETL processes using a vast array of tools
