Job Overview:
The Custody Operations Officer is responsible for the daily custody operations of the organization. This includes ensuring that all operational processes, policies and procedures are followed in accordance with laid down SOPs and Policies. The Custody Operations Officer will work closely with the custody team of Liminal and ensure the SLAs are met in delivering the services to Customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Perform the daily custody operations along with the other team members across Liminal.
- Reconciliation of Virtual Assets on a periodic basis as per the defined procedures.
- Ensure that all operational risks are escalated in accordance with laid down procedures to the Head of Operations.
- Provide best in class customer support services to the Customers of Liminal.
- Escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management, when necessary.
- Ensure that all operational reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal partners, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Ability to multi-task and take on responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
- Experience with custody and security procedures for digital assets and/or traditional assets.
- Prior experience working in an regulated entity is good to have.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems.
