Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a data analyst to join our team working across two key pieces of business for Publicis Media – Spotify and Haleon. In this role, you will be expected to support the analysis of large data pools to extract insights that lead to in depth understanding of media performance. You will also be required to help to support and present key findings to clients, where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Extraction & Analysis:

Extract data from various databases, including Google Analytics and direct sources from publishers/vendors.

Monitor and extract key data points to produce clear, concise, and client-friendly reports and analyses.

Utilize data visualization tools to create interactive and intuitive reports for clients and internal teams.

Data Credibility & Communication:

Serve as the primary contact for all data-related inquiries and issues regarding data credibility.

Ensure accuracy and reliability in all data reported to clients and internal teams.

Communicate complex data insights in an understandable manner, tailoring the presentation to different audiences

Reporting System & Process:
-
Develop and maintain a reporting system and process that enables planners and clients to understand media performance.

Facilitate comparisons between different media channels to optimize campaign strategies.

Collaboration & Framework Development:
-
Work with regional and global counterparts to establish a local framework for KPIs and reporting.

Collect and manage automation for reporting to produce globally agreed upon reports.
Specific Skills requirements:
-
Google Analytics Expertise:
-
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Google Analytics and its reporting functionalities.

Proactively recommend KPIs that align with campaign objectives and client goals.

Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in Google Analytics to continuously improve reporting and analysis.

Excel Proficiency and Google sheet:
-
Utilize advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables, to present data effectively.

Create dynamic and visually appealing reports that aid in decision-making.

Develop Excel-based tools and templates to streamline data analysis and reporting tasks.
Qualifications
-
Have at least 2+ years experience
-
Data processing/analysis related to various media data
-
Data analysis skills: Analyze viewership, readership, click-through rates, and other figures to optimize media selection and advertising distribution.

Client facing/presentation (including document preparation)

Collaboration with external partners

Communication skills: Able to communicate with a variety of people in order to plan and communicate with clients regarding requirements, budgets, negotiations with media companies, etc.

Native Japanese and Business English (TOEIC score 800 or above)
