Job Description

We at ThoughtSpot are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure our data systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain key metrics on product development, marketing, and sales.

  • Develop solutions for complex business scenarios and create custom insights in the form of charts, dashboards, and reports for more sophisticated analyses

  • Create adoption (usage) metrics on product features, consumption trends, customer health, etc. related metrics to pro-actively identify the risks associated to customers.

  • Partner with senior leaders throughout the organizations and solve dynamic challenges that require working with large datasets.

  • Conduct analysis that includes defining the problem, data collection, processing, analysis, and presentations that guide our strategy and operational plans.

What we look for

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of strong experience in data analysis preferably in a software product based organization.

  • Strong SQL and moderate Python/R skills.

  • Strong problem solving skills to identify the cause of the issues, propose the appropriate solutions, and implement them.

  • Excellent communication skills to understand the requirements from stakeholders and explain them the reports and insights developed for them.

  • Drive effective meetings with sales leaders, marketers, teammates, and other leadership.

  • Analytical thinking with an open mind to understand and acclimatized to any business scenario.

  • Experience in data engineering is an added advantage.
