Data Analyst

Tech Firefly is teaming up with a national HRIS company to hire a Data Analyst. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide valuable insights to our stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven strategies. Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Utilize statistical methods to validate data and perform data quality checks.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business processes and drive decision-making.
• Create and maintain efficient data models and dashboards.
• Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and support their analysis needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automate data collection and analysis processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficiency with Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data cleaning, data wrangling, and data manipulation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
