Job Description
The Role
As a Data Analyst at Publicis Groupe Japan, you will play a pivotal role in transforming client solutions through the power of data analysis and visualization. Your primary focus will be on extracting meaningful insights from business, media, and audience data, and effectively communicating these insights to our clients to drive informed decision-making. You will be responsible for developing and presenting comprehensive data visualizations and reports, ensuring our strategies are not only data-driven but also easily interpretable by non-technical stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence customer experience and business outcomes in the pharma marketing sector for a premier pharmaceutical client, utilizing your analytical prowess to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights within complex datasets.
Cross Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Data & Technology Directors/Managers, media, & account teams within Japan, as well as global centers of excellence, to identify and address client data and technology needs and priorities.
- Engage in an exciting role with the largest strategic global client in the pharma industry, leveraging data to enhance client strategies and operations.
- Work alongside client-facing teams to interpret data, delivering insights and analyses through compelling data stories and visualizations.
- Contribute to the development of new capabilities in data analysis, technology, and analytics within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify meaningful insights, trends, and patterns that inform client strategies.
- Design and create engaging data visualizations and reports that clearly communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data insights are integrated into broader business and marketing strategies effectively.
- Apply quantitative techniques to analyze and interpret data from various sources, including customer databases, digital engagement metrics, and market research.
- Support the data analysis lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to analysis, interpretation, and presentation of findings.
- Continuously seek ways to improve data analysis and visualization processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and relevance of insights.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data analysis, visualization, and customer experience strategies.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with experience in the pharma industry being a significant advantage.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
- Experience in presenting complex data insights to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with customer experience metrics and methodologies, and the ability to link data insights to customer and business outcomes.
- Advanced level English proficiency required; Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above highly preferred, to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
