Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst

Blooms MFB is hiring a Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that support business growth, risk control, and customer satisfaction. This role will support decision-making, improve internal processes, and promote financial inclusion through data.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and manage data from banking systems and digital platforms

• Analyze customer behavior, loan performance, deposits, and risk trends

• Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards

• Provide insights to support credit, product, and marketing decisions

• Monitor KPIs and recommend process improvements

• Generate reports for regulators (CBN, NDIC) and support audits

• Use tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and preferably Python or R for analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

• 3+ years in a data analytics role (preferably in financial services or fintech)

• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau

• Experience with financial data (loans, deposits, transactions)

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Knowledge of microfinance operations and regulation

• Familiarity with core banking systems and mobile money

• Python experience is an added advantage
