Data Analyst – Business Performance & Analytics
The Finance Data Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for providing finance support, conducting data analysis, and generating detailed reporting for various business units. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with different teams, handle ad-hoc requests, and work with senior leadership. This role is suited for a self-starter who is adept at working with large datasets and creating actionable insights through reporting and data visualization.
In this role you will:

Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using multiple reporting platforms.

Generate business performance reports and deep-dive trend analyses.

Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data from various sources, and collaborate with the technical team to establish efficient ETL processes.

Apply business knowledge to analyze data, understand patterns, and create new reports or data products from it.

Gather and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Optimize report performance and data refresh schedules to meet evolving business needs.

Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.

Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.

Work closely with global teams to ensure seamless business support.

Handle routine tasks like data checks and report generation to free up senior team members for more complex analysis.

Ensure high standards of accuracy in all reports and insights delivered to stakeholders.
Experience and qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience for Bachelor’s degree holders.
-
0-2 years of experience for Master’s degree holders.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics).

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and high-quality outputs.

Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Solid understanding of math and statistics concepts.

Proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction.
-
Advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation and report creation.

Experience with Python for data analysis and automation tasks.

Familiarity with Tableau and other BI tools for data visualization.

Previous experience in financial analytics or business performance reporting.

Experience collaborating with offshore teams to maintain effective cross-functional workflows.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $66,000.00 to $92,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $105,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
