Global Banking and Markets (GBM) provides corporate and institutional clients with lending and transaction services, investment banking, advice, and access to capital markets. GBM is a full-service wholesale bank in the Americas, with operations in several countries, serving clients across Canada, the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Client Insights and Analytics is part of the COO (Chief Operating Officer’s) office in Global Banking and Markets. Our mandate is to lead the execution of our business strategies through powerful reporting and analytics. We are closely integrated with our business partners to drive adoption, and client strategies/insights and opportunities.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Assist in the processing and validation of large volumes of financial data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Perform reconciliations between internal systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements related to data management and reconciliation procedures.
• Generate reports and provide analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Help leverage internal and external client data to facilitate opportunity identification.
• Support adoption, change management and enhancement of our CRM (client relationship management) system.
• Carry out ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

• You have completed your post-secondary education between April 2023 and May 2024.
• You have advanced experience with Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
• You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions/hackathons.
• You are interested in or have knowledge of the capital markets and wholesale banking business.
• You have experience working on a major project and/or initiative in a team.
• You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and a matrix-based environment.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• You have considerable initiative, curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail.
• You have a high level of energy, commitment, and a strong sense of teamwork.
