The Team:

Hierarchy management team is responsible for maintaining company’s hierarchical relationships across entities in S&P Global Market Intelligence. The team collects varied information with relate to corporate structure consists of ultimate parent, shareholding chain, company owners as well as other associated companies of an organization from variety of sources. The team services the client by providing accurate and comprehensive research from Company filings, press releases, company websites and regulatory filings, and an in-depth understanding of product offerings and screening tools.

 

The Impact: 

This role will influence Hierarchy Management dataset and will require the candidate to understand the content collection from the eyes of the end user and implement problem solving skills to provide workable solutions. This role requires to work with peers, stakeholders in different content sets and operational domains, and higher stakeholders.

The role demands high level of ethics, attentiveness, articulation, eye for detail, and understanding of process workflows tools. This position is an excellent steppingstone to understand Hierarchy Management, that will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding through Cross Reference Identifiers & relationships standards, and enable you to learn facets of integrated framework, and as well as apply this knowledge to your daily responsibilities.

Primarily responsible for delivering on predefined individual and team goals with quality and excellence. Along with, she/he will involve in internal working groups to plan and execute depending on various requirements within the team. Once strong fundamental understanding of the dataset and proficiency at workflows is developed, this role would require working with new talent to develop/enhance their skillset.

 

Responsibilities:

  • High quality data collation, analysis, extraction and entering the data in work tools as per guideline specifications
  • Provide accurate, relevant and complete solution
  • Execute root causing of data lapses and gaps in coverage
  • Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have strong working knowledge of work tools
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence
  • Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights and trends
  • Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for efficient data processing
  • Build predictive models using AI techniques to drive business solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Continuously improve data processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Implement Lean principles to optimize processes and drive efficiency gains

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum requirement is for Post Graduates in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field preferable with work experience of 1 to 2 years in the same field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Thorough research and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and attitude for Multi-tasking
  • Problem-solving and effective Inter-personal skills
  • Willingness to work in all shifts on rotational basis, along with work week adjustments
  • Proven experience in data analysis and date handling
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Key Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Python for data management and analysis
  • Strong command of SQL for querying and managing databases
  • Experience in Automation tools to streamline processes and workflows
  • Familiarity with AI techniques for predictive modeling and data-driven decision-making
  • Lean mindset with a focus on efficiency, waste reduction, and process improvement.
