Data Analyst I, Data Governance and Regulatory Analytics

General Description:
This role will support the team of DGRA to provide global stewardship and long-term strategic direction for activities related to data governance and regulatory analytics at BeiGene. The role is important to the development, continuous improvement, and maintenance of DGRA’s multi-disciplinary projects/products, including 1) automated data protection solutions, 2) artificial intelligence (AI) based solutions, and supporting the development of new products.
Moreover, this role reports to the director of DGRA and collaborates with internal stakeholders in multiple DGRA projects.
Essential Functions of the job:
Develop and maintain automated solutions with team members to support drug research and development efforts. Communicate with internal stakeholders and optimize the existing solutions and procedure when necessary. With guidance, use the new technology in data science and computer science to develop solutions. Maintain the databases for the DGRA projects, which include data visualization, analysis, and reporting. Find and suggest solutions to problems or inefficiencies in DGRA’s analytical capabilities. Work with GTS and other cross-functional leaders, such as but not limited to statisticians, data managers, clinical operations, medical monitors, safety officers, EDC builders, quality, legal personnel to develop and optimize cross functional procedures where data governance and privacy are involved. Support additional research activities conducted by Data Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, and other groups when appropriate. Participate in team meetings and provide regular progress updates. Stay current with the latest developments in related technology fields.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in health data analytics or computer science and related fields with 3+ years of experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in these fields
Computer Skills:
4+ years of direct experience in programming, information technology, or related field demonstrating capability to integrate complex data Experience in large language models such as GPT-3.5, GPT-4, Llama series, etc. Expert in standard data integration technologies (Python, R, MATLAB, C++, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Linux, Apache, AWS, Azure, Git, TensorFlow, Pandas, Latex, NumPy, SciPy, Storm, Spark, D3, etc.) Expert knowledge of database architecture, maintenance, security, and access

Salary Range: $79,400.00 – $109,400.00 annually
BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
