NextGen Drug Master (NDM) is Enterprise Product MDM system that ingest, standardize, and master Product data from internal and external data sources, and has both BMS and Competitor products. We support cross-functional business capabilities by providing foundational product master data, enabling commercial product launches and Competitive product analysis. We aim to improve data quality and promote data capability for all our stakeholders.

We seek an energetic and experienced IT professional to join the foundational data management team. In this role, the candidate will assist internal team and key stakeholders to perform data analysis, ensure delivery of data solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to BMS and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as Team Player to perform support and enhancement activities for NextGen Drug Master (Product MDM application).
  • Responsible for platform support and technical operations for MDM Hub, which includes Incident and problem management, work on minor enhancements, system monitoring, supporting platform upgrade activities, issue troubleshooting, Monitoring Jobs, jobs scheduling, notifying downstream consumers on processing delays/failures. Experience with change control processes, code migration and management tools are required.
  • Flexible to be on call to support product launches across geographies (approx. twice/month).
  • Able to collaborate with other team members, across multiple geographies (US, Canada, LATAM, EU, China, APAC, JP and Global).
  • Integration of new source data to Product MDM solution. Participate in analysis of application requirements and provide design ideas to support the business. Understand the project deliverables and make committed efforts to deliver on intended outcomes.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and communicate status to appropriate levels of management and stakeholders across assigned project(s) across geographical regions.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, documentation, deployment, and support.
  • As a member working in a team environment, you will work with Business team, solution architect, enterprise architects and developers on interpretation/translation of functional requirements into creative designs, leading to technical solution.
  • Understand and adhere to strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
  • Strong Technical writing skills for updating supporting documentation, Knowledgebase articles etc.
  • Follow Agile development practices for project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and best practices.
  • Agility to learn new tools and processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate degree in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years’ experience to design, build, and maintain systems and solve complex master data management operations and support activities.
  • 5+ years of ETL development and support experience. AWS experience is must (Glue, Lambda, S3).
  • 5+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge in coding and configuring Stibo STEP, to implement Master Data Management application/s or equivalent MDM tool experience.
  • Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry is a must.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management and specifically Product Master Data management will be a plus.
  • Experience working in a global setting, especially for US/EU/APAC/JAPAN markets is a plus.
  • Experience in using ServiceNow and knowledge of incident/request management will be a plus.
  • Demonstrates openness to learning and developing. Takes responsibility for their own development and growth.
