Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a motivated and determined individual to join our CGG team. The Data Analyst Intern reports to the Data Science Manager and works within the department to assist the team with projects assigned to achieve corporate objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists data science team with basic data queries and correcting large data sets.
  • Documents adjustments and modifications
  • Test python code using IDE and GIT with repository management.
  • Creates tools to communicate functionality and to enhance the end user’s knowledge and experience.
  • Observes developers as they write code.
  • Follow strict guideline to write python code.
  • Works with other team members to accomplish group projects as defined and assigned by leadership.
  • Conduct special projects and perform all other duties, as assigned by the Data Science Manager.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college with a focus on IT, Business or related. Sophomore level or higher, 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Familiar with VSCode/PyCharm and other IDE
  • Experience with Python.
  • Ability to strictly preserve the confidentiality of sensitive data.
