We are looking for a highly resourceful and self-motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team in developing data services for creating origination reports tailored to Private Equity (PE) clients. The intern will support various data enrichment tasks using Large Language Models (LLMs) and in-house databases, under the Data Product and Business Operations teams. This role offers a valuable learning experience and practical application of academic knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
Data Enrichment Support
- Assist in data enrichment activities using LLMs and data from our databases.
- Support the improvement of quality and speed of data enrichment processes.
Automation and Process Improvement
- Automate repetitive tasks in the enrichment process using Python to accelerate data facilitation to the operations team.
- Generate reports on different types of processes for daily operations.
Tool Utilization and Workflow Management
- Familiarize with workflows and no-code tools to streamline data processes.
- Postgres tool to run queries to retrieve data from our databases
- Google and Microsoft apps to manage datasets
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, or relevant certificates in data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in matching and enriching datasets using Excel and Google Sheets. Familiarity with LLMs is a plus.
- Demonstrated practical application of knowledge through personal projects on GitHub or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and a quick learner, with the ability to independently seek out solutions and learn new tools and techniques.
