Data Analyst Intern

About the Role
DANA Indonesia is seeking a passionate and driven Data Analyst Intern to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for final-year students or fresh graduates who are eager to apply their analytical skills in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will primarily work on data visualization projects supporting the e-wallet application, while also responding to internal data requests from various teams such as Product, Marketing, and Operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in turning raw data into insightful dashboards and visual stories that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
– Create, update, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
– Support internal teams by handling ad hoc data requests, providing meaningful insights, and ensuring data accuracy.
– Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth data flow.
– Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction from relational databases (RDBMS) like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
– Document data definitions, dashboards, and processes for internal use.
– Participate in regular syncs and contribute to the improvement of our data visualization framework.

Requirements
– Final-year student or fresh graduate majoring in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
– Available to commit for 6 months internship (can be extended).
– Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
– Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
– Familiarity with Python for data analysis is a plus.
– Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
– Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
