At Marsh we are looking for candidates for the following position located in México City:

Data Analyst – IT Production Support

We will count on you to:

  • Responds to incidents within SLA or within a timely manner with appropriate level of urgency.
  • Uses corporate incident management system to record and track all support work.
  • Have hands-on experience handling Data Flow Issues resulting from multiple upstream processes or integrations.
  • Facilitates custom data corrections and data uploads.
  • Liaises with regional teams, country / global colleagues, and business contacts if research requires further investigation, or if new additions are identified to be added to the master repository.
  • Comprehends quality improvement concepts including data profiling, root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement to assist with process improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participates in data quality initiatives as well as projects undertaken to improve processes, analyzes updates that are requested, and assists various colleagues in the firm with the more difficult reference data issues that arise.
  • Provides training to internal colleagues as required and addresses client issues/inquiries to escalate to management.
  • Facilitates diagnosis and resolution on all operational related client issues and inquiries.

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in providing Data support.
  • Experience supporting Containerized applications.
  • Must have handled data flow issues large customer base applications.
  • Database knowledge writing SQL queries in any RDBMS tool (Oracle or anything similar)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Spanish
  • English proficiency (must have).
  • Project Management Experience (Desirable)
  • ITIL qualifications (Desirable)
  • Insurance Industry experience strongly desired (Desirable)
