As part of our mission to make home design frictionless we understood that plants are the worst home design product that dies constantly. We knew this is an engineering issue and we forged our focus towards a mission to prevent plants from dying. Hence, we invested 2 years and developed a self-watering system that prevents plants from dying.
This is an amazing opportunity to join the core team of a new, promising startup, that operates under the umbrella of “Mixtiles”, one of the largest Israeli consumer companies.
What you’re applying for
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst Lead to join easyplant. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and deriving insights from product and marketing data to drive strategic decision-making processes. You will collaborate with various teams across the organization to optimize business processes, create and maintain BI reports and dashboards, and contribute to the overall data-driven culture of the company.
We’re looking for a self starter that is comfortable taking ownership. As the first dedicated data team member, you’ll have a true opportunity to grow within the company and take on new and challenging projects from day 1.
In this role you’ll
- Utilize strong technical skills to analyze large and complex datasets.
- Identify business processes, trends, and anomalies to provide actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau & Looker.
- Create data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Act as a subject matter expert in data analysis and BI tools, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field emphasizing statistical and analytical skills.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Product Analyst, with Proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and manipulation.
- Proven experience in creating BI reports and dashboards using tools like BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, etc.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with data engineering processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Python + standard analysis libraries e.g. Numpy, Pandas – Strong advantage
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, Machine Learning, and AI concepts is also a plus.
