About our shop

The ABOUT YOU Outlet is an online shopping club with its own app and website (e.g., www.aboutyou-outlet.de). It is currently live in eight countries and operates with a deal structure: new deals are unlocked every day, valid for seven days. During this time, customers can shop from a discounted range of products. As the ABOUT YOU Outlet is a closed online shopping club, users must first register before they can see the products and discounts of a deal.

About our team

The outlet team consists of three core functions: 1) Tech & Product 2) Marketing & CRM, and 3) Business Development & Supply, reporting directly to the management. We are a young and international team collaborating in a modern office in the heart of downtown Hamburg.

For our marketing team we are now looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d) who will work closely with our core Marketing Intelligence team at About You. 

Responsibilities

• Closely collaborate with stakeholders from different teams to help them make data driven decisions: align goals of analyses, propose and implement pragmatic solutions and communicate results
• Conduct complex analyses (mainly using SQL) based on different data sources (e.g., BI backend data, web/app tracking data, marketing partner data)
• Build custom dashboards based on Google BigQuery (e.g., in Google Data Studio)
• Focus on outcome with a hands-on attitude to facilitate practical solutions

Requirements

• University degree in a business field (economics, business administration or business informatics)
• Some relevant work experience  as an analyst or from a position on the stakeholder side (e.g., Performance Marketing agency)
• Excellent analytical skills, previous experience with SQL
• Knowledge of Data Science related topics is a plus (e.g., Python skills, understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts) 
• Well organized with good prioritization skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Open-minded and curious to learn about new topics
